Q: How do I insert the Vial in the Fantastic Coupler?
- BEST: Stretch Silicone Security Strap over Vial main barrel.
- SECOND BEST: Stretch Silicone Security Strap over neck of Vial but this restricts your view of “The Last Drops” of Insulin
Q: How do I put the Syringe on?
- Position the Syringe Front End Flanged Ring so it touches the front edge of your Fantastic Syringe Carriage.
- Press Syringe into groove on top of the Syringe Carriage until you hear (or feel) the CLICK. Check that the Syringe is level!
- Position Syringe number calibrations on top for easy viewing.
- NOTE: Avoid rubbing numbers off the Syringe barrel.
- Position Resistance Spacer Ring (see instructions below)
- Load Insulin in Syringe - Push Carriage assembly towards Vial until needle enters Vial. Push air into Vial with Syringe plunger.
- Measure and Draw Insulin – Pull plunger to draw desired dose.
- Remove Syringe from Carriage – Pull Carriage assembly away from Vial until Carriage touches End Cap of Stabilizer bar and then push DOWN on plunger end of Syringe. Give dose.
Q: How do I position the Resistance Spacer Ring to get “The Last Drops” of Insulin
- Push Resistance Spacer against front of Carriage assembly (holding Syringe and Needle).
- Hold your Fantastic Coupler vertically with Vial at top.
- Move Carriage to push Resistance Spacer toward Vial.
- As Needle enters Vial, gently pull Syringe Plunger until first amount of Insulin appears in Syringe.
- STOP THERE – Resistance Spacer is fixed in this position.
